Sher-e-Bangla – Dhaka, Bangladesh
Clear and sunny day
The wicket will have something in it for the bowlers and anything above 160 here should be difficult to chase.
Rangpur played two matches in Sylhet league and defeated Kings in their very first match.Mohammad Mithun, Ravi Bopara and Shahriar Nafees have all got good starts but the team will want them to convert those starts into big ones. The Windies explosive batsman Charles did not go for a big innings on his name but we all know how dangerous he is. As McCullum and Gayle are not available, the combination of overseas players might remain same for this game also.
Back to back losses in the first two maches of the season push Kings down to the bottom position in the points table. The runner ups of the last year have not got a good start in this season with two huge defeats in two matches. Luke Wright smashed with boundaries and scored 56 runs off 39 balls in last match and his innings will be very crucial for his team. Middle order is completely depending upon James Franklin. Rahim, the Bangladeshi star batsman has not opened his account and the team is expecting some big innings from him in today’s game.
