Pitch Report

A good batting surface with plenty of pace and bounce is expected for this game. 180 should be a par first-innings score. In this season 2 matches were played but both matches were washed out.

Team News : Dolphins

Zondo and his men started the season brilliantly and won their first match but they lost to Lions in second match. Dolphins made one change to their 13 members squad. They added the experienced Vaughn Van Jaarsveld in place of Eathan Bosch. With the addition of Vaughn Dolphins batting line up is looking very strong. In Imran Tahir, Andile Phehlukwayo and Keshav Maharaj, the Dolphins boast a formidable bowling attack. Subreyan may be dropped in this match.

Team News : Cape Cobras

The Cobras seems too much dependent on Hashim Amla and JP Duminy when it comes to batting. In last match Cobras promoted George Linde to 3rd position and he justified the promotion with a blistering half century. He also took a wicket in that match which turned to Cobras side. Philander was injured in last game so he was dropped and we can expect him on the field in today’s game. If Philander comes in then Nabe will not play.  After taking 3 wickets in last match Paterson will continue in this match.
