This team is always a huge threat for BBL title. They finished at 2nd position in last year’s league stage but they lost in semi final match. Whenever we speak about Brisbane Heat, the first thing that strikes in our mind is “Bash Bros”, Brendon McCullum and Chris Lynn, are one of the most dangerous batsmen in BBL history. 13 members squad has been announced and it will be lead by McCullum. They have the biggest batting duo in franchise, Brisbane Heat has more fire power with McCullum, Chris Lynn, Burns, Ben Cutting. Team News : Melbourne Stars
They made only once into the finals and nothing more than that from Stars. In last season they won 4 matches and lost 4 matches and finished at 4th position in points table. Like Heat they also lost in semi final match. They need to win as many matches as possible in early stage of the BBL because Maxwell, Stonis, Zampa will not be available in lateral stages. The three players are part of Odi series against England followed by international series featuring England and New Zealand. 13 members squad has been announced and it will be lead by Hastings. The main attraction for Stars in this year is Kevin Pietersen. The former star England batsman might be going for the final time in his career. Their batting line up has good strength with Wright, Pietersen, Dunk, Maxwell at top of the order, Stonis can play his own shots when his team wanted him and he is good with ball also. They have variety of bowling attack in likes of Zampa, Beer, Hastings.
